We begin each project by listening, learning, and conceptualizing the best way to construct your Website. We feel it is our job to bring your vision to "life" on the Web.
Many of our clients have worked very hard to establish an image in the real world. But all that work goes to waste if visitors see a bad Web site first. First impressions are hard to overcome, and more and more people look to the Web for their first look. For this type of client we go through all their existing materials, we examine the way they market themselves in person, and get an overall impression of how they present themselves to the world.
Other clients come to us with only a vague idea of what they want. They either don’t have, or aren’t happy with, their logo, their corporate colors, or their general image. Or they want their Web presence to break new ground. In this case we take more of a leadership role. We can create logos, develop collateral material, and develop a design aesthetic that helps the client find that new look.
In either case, our process is a proven path to satisfaction. We begin by delving into what the client wishes, who the target audience is, what kind of technology the target audience will likely use, and gather any material the client can provide that helps us see into their mind. We also ask the Client to look and submit links of any Websites they find that they either like or particularly don’t like. If the client is not familiar with the Internet, we survey other sites in the Client’s field and suggest links.
Once we have a good set of design notes, we begin the iterative process. We propose a design sample, (for more complex sites we may prepare two independent samples), and use client feedback to refine the look until it feels just right.
